Darkness, Dishonour and Despair for the Muslim Woman in the Absence of Her Shield and Guardian \u2013 The Khilafah<\/strong><\/p>\n

This Rajab marks another grim milestone in the history of the Muslim Ummah \u2013 100 years in the Hijri calendar since the destruction of its glorious state and Islamic leadership: the Khilafah at the hands of the enemy of Islam, Mustapha Kemal, and Western colonial governments. This catastrophic event had a devastating impact on the lives of Muslim women and their children and families, for they lost a state that had always stood as the guardian and protector over their rights, welfare and wellbeing, for the Prophet (saw) said, \u00ab\u0648\u064e\u0627\u0644\u0625\u0650\u0645\u064e\u0627\u0645\u064f \u0631\u064e\u0627\u0639\u064d \u0648\u064e\u0645\u064e\u0633\u0652\u0626\u064f\u0648\u0644\u064c \u0639\u064e\u0646\u0652 \u0631\u064e\u0639\u0650\u064a\u0651\u064e\u062a\u0650\u0647\u0650\u00bb <\/span><\/strong>\u201cThe Imam (Khalifah) is a guardian and he is responsible for his subjects\u201d<\/strong>. Over the last 100 years, in the absence of the Khilafah, the lives of Muslim women have been plagued with death, destruction, dishonour, destitution and despair.<\/p>\n

Hence, this Rajab, the Women\u2019s Section in the Central Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir has launched an international campaign to highlight the painful aftermath of the loss of the Khilafah on the lives of Muslim women globally, as well as to present a vision of what the true rights, roles and status of women will be under Islamic rule. It will also dismantle the many misconceptions and lies regarding the oppression of women under the Khilafah and call for the urgent establishment of this Islamic state. This campaign is part of a global campaign launched by Hizb ut Tahrir<\/a><\/strong> upon the order of its Ameer, the eminent scholar, Sheikh Ata BIn Khalil Abu Al-Rashtah, entitled, \u201cUpon the Centenary of the Destruction of the Khilafah\u2026Establish it, O Muslims!\u201d<\/em> As the women of Hizb ut Tahrir, we say 100 years of unbearable suffering, indignity and loss is enough! We need to bring this darkest chapter in the history of the Muslim Ummah to an urgent end!<\/p>\n
