Trump-Kenyatta Meeting on 27 August 2018: A Meeting to Tighten the Noose on the Neck of the Kenyan Colony
On 6 August 2018, White House issued an official statement that states, “President Donald J. Trump will welcome President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya to the White House on August 27, 2018. Kenya is a vital partner of the United States, and President Trump looks forward to discussing ways to broaden the strategic partnership based on our shared democratic values and mutual interests. [White House, 06/08/2018]
Acting State House Spokesperson Kanze Dena confirmed the statement while addressing journalists at State House, Mombasa on 6 August 2018, and said: “The two leaders will discuss good bilateral relationships between the two countries and plans to boost among other sectors, security, trade and investment.” To understand the reality behind this invitation it is imperative to highlight the following issues that precipitated the invitation:
First, Kenya’s 8 August 2017 General election that saw President Kenyatta –Jubilee Party (Britain agent ruler) declared victorious against former Prime Minister Raila Odinga-NASA (America’s agent ruler); but the Supreme Court of Kenya (SCoK) invalidated the win on 1 September 2017 and the nation went back to an election re-run that was held on 26 October 2017 but boycotted by Raila Odinga who alleged that the issues raised by the SCoK were not addressed. On the other hand, the re-run took place and Kenyatta was declared the winner for the second time. On the hand foreign diplomats led by Bob Godec (US) and Nic Hailey (Britain) issued statements before and after the first and repeat elections and the message was the same; the outcome was clean despite some hiccups. This led to Mr. Odinga being harsh on the diplomats and accused them of being concerned with business deals rather democracy and its values! Mr. Odinga left the country on 7 November 2018 for a 10-day visit to the US and returned on 17 November 2017. In the US where he held a series of meetings with the US Congressional committees on the October 26 repeat presidential election and his reasons for withdrawing from the race. Furthermore, he said, ““I have met leaders from the State Department, the Congress, and American professionals. I have briefed them on the situation in Kenya, and the kind of challenges we are facing following the bungled presidential elections.” [Daily Nation, 16/11/2017]. His statement was confirmed by Donald Yamamoto, acting Assistant Secretary of State for Africa, mentioned in a conference call with reporters that he had met with Mr. Odinga where he said: “That conversation — we can’t go into great detail,” in response to a question regarding the US’ assessment of the NASA leader’s complaints. [The EastAfrican, 14/11/2017]. Then the unconstitutional swearing of Mr. Odinga followed on 30 January 2018! All these acts of Mr. Odinga were deliberately orchestrated to ensure that they pile pressure on Britain’s agent ruler to accommodate his (US) master’s interests considering public opinion was not in his favour and so compromise was the only solution!
Second, Kenyans on 9 March 2018 were taken by surprise when they watched Kenyatta and Odinga shaking hands at the footsteps of Harambee House in Nairobi. This was after their meeting where they resolved to work together and unite the country after the long protracted elections! It was not making any sense at all, but what made sense was the timing of their decision, which was almost 5 hours to the visit by the former US State Secretary Rex Tillerson to Nairobi. Their decision and the visit of US foreign top diplomat confirmed that indeed there was a compromise between US and Britain via their agent rulers. Acting US Assistant Secretary of State for Africa Donald Yamamoto admitted that the US had engaged extensively with Odinga on the need for reconciliation ahead of a visit by US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson. Speaking to The Wallstreet Journal, confirmed the engagement, stating that “we said to him … is that you have a really tremendous opportunity for historic times to really push forward political and economic reforms”. Third, Raila’s maden trip on 24 May 2018 to South Sudan as a special envoy representing African Union (AU) and had a seven-hour meeting with South Sudan President Salva Kiir and later travelled to South Africa to meet former South Sudan vice-president Riek Machar to discuss a possible solution to the conflict in South Sudan [Daily Nation 27/05/2018]. Ultimately the two rivals signed a unity government deal on Sunday 5 August 2018 in Khartoum, presided over by President Omar Bashir (Sudan) together with President Uhuru Kenyatta [The Star 05/08/2018]. Then followed by the gazettement of The Building Bridges to Unity Advisory Task Force on 24 May 2018 led by Amb. Martin Kimani (Representing Kenyatta) and lawyer Paul Mwangi (Representing Odinga) as joint secretaries. [The Star 31/05/2018].
Fourth, on 30 May 2018 the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) Kenya hosted the first ever “Doing Business with USA Forum” at the Movenpick Hotel, Nairobi an event graced by the US ambassador to Kenya Amb. Robert F. Godec as the Chief Guest. Later, followed by the US-Kenya bilateral trade summit organized by AmCham Kenya on 28 June 2018. It was led by Uhuru Kenyatta and US Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade Gilbert Kaplan leading a delegation of more than 70 business leaders to engage the Government and local businesses on opportunities around the Big Four agenda of universal healthcare, manufacturing, affordable housing and food security.
Fifth, Seeking 300 billion loan from the US to finance the construction of a six-lane expressway to link Mombasa and Nairobi via the American construction giant Bechtel. The planned upcoming direct flights from Nairobi, Kenya to New York City, US on October 2018 subject to approval. The latest security package and policies surrounding the western-sanctioned war on Radicalization and Terror considering the latest good relations between Ethiopia and Eritrea and Eritrea and Somalia. Appreciation of Kenya’s presence in Israel during US relocation of embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
All the above issues confirm that indeed America has compromised and resolved to work with Britain in order to realize her interests, within its slogan “Amerika First.” So the invitation is not meant to benefit the Kenyan citizens at large but a few egocentric wheel-dealers aligned in the Raila-Kenyatta inner circle informed by the latest so-called “hand-shake”.
Africa’s renaissance lies in cutting ties with western colonial secular states that are the root cause of their political and socio-economic stagnation through implementation of their evil secular capitalist ideology emanating from man’s limited mind contrary to the Islamic ideology emanating from the Creator of creations. Until then Africa will continue to suffer from western secular policies until it embraces the pure Islamic ideology under the just leadership of the Khilafah ruling by Islam only.
