Kenya on Sunday 28th October 2018 at 11:20am embarked on its dream to realize direct flights from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi to John Fitzgerald Kennedy (JFK) International Airport in New York City! The 15 hours journey ended on Monday at 2:15pm by landing at JFK with an entourage of senior government officials led by Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs Monica Juma and his Transport colleague CS Macharia and US Ambassador to Kenya Bob Godec aboard.
Kenya becomes a fifth Sub-Saharan Africa nation to land into JFK International Airport after South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana and Ethiopia. This dream was realized only after Kenya was cleared by the US as confirmed by the KAA’s statement “Following the announcement between His Excellency, President Uhuru Kenyatta and President Donald Trump, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) has now achieved the Last Point of Departure status.” (Soko Directory, 29/08/2018) This was after President Uhuru had a meeting with Trump on Monday 27th August 2018 at the White House which was anchored on trade, investments and security as confirmed by Trump who said “We do a lot of trade. We do a lot of defence and security.” (Standard Digital, 29/08/2018)
The reality behind these direct flights to America is as follows:
First: America has started a 21st Century Economic War against China and European Union (EU). Hence, US is using all the incentives in her disposal to entice countries that she views to be crucial and who can be used in its latest global economic maneuvers especially Africa where China is currently calling shots economically and EU members who were once the direct colonizers of the continent! So America is fast making inroads in Africa to put the colonial farm in order and concentrate its efforts in tightening the knots on China and EU’s necks!
Second: To realize her evil objectives in Africa, the US Administration under Trump has decided to split Africa in two aspects Horn of Africa led by Egypt and Sub-Saharan Africa led by Nigeria and East Africa led by Kenya within Sub-Saharan Africa. Hence, US invited Egypt’s President Abdel Fatah el-Sisi on April 2017 and Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari on April 2018 and Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta on August 2018. These three nations are playing an imperative role in their respective regions both in term of security by spearheading America’s security plans including counter-terrorism initiatives and economy with Nigeria being the most populous and largest economy in Africa, followed by Egypt third populous and largest economy in Africa and with Kenya being the largest economy and 2nd most populous in East Africa. That means these three countries and their presidents have a voice in African issues despite the fact that their allegiance oscillates between America and Britain as they are sub-servant nations with their foreign policy anchored on myopic interests driven by their masters’ vision!
Third: On the part of Kenya, it is an effective sub-servant nation in East Africa whose national army is currently engaged in a western-funded proxy war led by America behind scenes in the fight against the so-called Terrorism (Al Shaabab). Furthermore, the 9th March 2018 handshake between America’s staunch agent in Kenya, Raila Odinga with Uhuru Kenyatta a British loyalist has led to halting of political animosity and bickering to please the so-called foreign investors. Kenya is East Africa’s most learned young population and a beacon for democratic maturity. These direct flights are a reward to the Jubilee administration from the Trump administration for a job-well done anchored on a compromise between the two top western-masters’ agents. Therefore, Uhuru’s credibility locally, regionally and internationally was endorsed by America the superpower nation and Raila awarded as the AU envoy for infrastructure development! That means America will utilize the latest developments to ensure it improves her economic prospects globally and especially Africa.
In conclusion, these flights like the railways during the British colonial period where Colonial railroads did not necessarily place the railroad by selecting locations of intrinsically high economic potential; but rather the cheapest or shortest route. For example, the purpose of the Kenya-Uganda railroad, built in 1901, was to connect Uganda to the coast at the lowest possible cost. Kenya was merely a transit territory; the railroad bypassed highly populated areas en-route to Lake Victoria, unlocking East Africa. In Ghana, the purpose was to connect European owned mines and for military domination within West Africa (International Growth Centre, 15/10/2014). Recently the Thika Highway and the Standard Gauge Railway which have gobbled billions of shillings with very little to show in direct improvement of people’s lives in terms of meeting their basic needs. However, they have led to more citizens into being condemned into further poverty due to unimaginable mafia taxation mechanisms aimed at financing debts, which have accumulated from loans taken to fund the same unnecessary projects!
So the hullabaloo witnessed by the celebrations of the launch of the direct flights are just a diversionary tactics by the Kenyan regime to portray themselves as an economic-driven regime. However, in reality it’s a regime synonymous with poverty creation and condemnation of citizens into miserable lifestyles never witnessed before in Kenyan history! On the other hand, social liberalization of the Kenyan society will further be promoted due to an increase in the high numbers of US tourists with their evil-culture! As for trade there is already an imbalance between the two nations considering Kenya is just a consumer market with America as an industry hub where products will be produced and flooded to Kenya under the fallacious AGOA benchmark!
The true liberation of Kenya and Africa in general lies in its embrace of the golden Khilafah project. Khilafah re-established on the method of Prophethood will ensure that Africa has true friends and partners. Partnership and friendship anchored on piety driven by the pure Islamic ideology under the just Khalifah who rules by Qur’an and Sunnah. Khilafah will be a genuine friend and a mother to Africa who helps Africa in real emancipation from their colonial slavery to the Creator of man. Khilafah will protect Africa by not only chasing away colonialist but also uproot their invalid secular capitalist ideology. Africa’s genuine peace, security, development and prosperity will be part of Khilafah’s priorities to serve as a yardstick for its’ globally Islamic propagation. To realize that Kenya and Africa in general need to cut ties with secular colonialist nations led by America the globally blood-spiller from Yemen, Somalia, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Palestine to Afghanistan etc.
