بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
On Thursday, 4 April 2019, President Uhuru Kenyatta as per Article 132 of the Kenyan Constitution delivered an address to the nation with citizens anticipating their hardship lives will be alleviated. Nothing was realized except the continuation of pillaging and oppressing the citizens! Citizens will continue to suffer with nobody coming to their rescue from challenges they are facing that have become like a noose on their necks that the secular capitalist government keeps on tightening!
The address was delivered only one day after the release of the report of the 2019 Finances Household Survey spearhead by the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) together with Financial Sector Deepening (FSD) that stated about 51% of Kenyans are living hand to mouth (dire situation)! This is a rise from 34.3% in the year 2016! (the-star.co.ke, 03/04/2019) In addition, it has come few weeks after the report that an estimated 1.2 million Kenyans are at risk of death from famine. In total, 14.7 million people are without food as the drought takes its toll. (the-star.co.ke, 18/03/2019). Kenya was mentioned in the World Bank (WB) report that 17.6 million Kenyans are in extreme poverty! As per WB a person living on less than $1.90 (Ksh200), a day is in extreme poverty. (theeastafrican.co.ke, 06/02/2019). The address did not elaborate how the nation will liberate herself from the shackles of interest-debts that currently stand at 5.4 trillion with the government taking 2 billion loans daily! (nation.co.ke, 02/04/2019) The said debts are expected to increase especially now that we expect President Uhuru Kenyatta to visit China for the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) forum where he is expected to sign a loan of Sh368 billion for the construction of the SGR from Naivasha – Kisumu. (mediamaxnetwork.co.ke, 02/04/2019)!
Nevertheless, the speech only highlighted the growth of the economy in the year 2018 by 6.1% and is expected in the year 2019 to grow by 6.3%! Furthermore, it talked about the continuation of the cosmetic war on corruption, allocation of Sh10 billion for healing wounds caused by historical injustices to realize peace and cohesion, promoting the “handshake” between the President and Raila and to improve the national security in other words to continue the war against Islam and Muslims on the pretext of war on extremism and terrorism! No where was the Kenyan pauper mentioned directly in relation on how the government will tackle his basic challenges political-economical-social-educational!
The Kenyan government like all other states in the world that are founded on secularism (separation of religion from life/government) and its capitalist colonial ideology (prioritizes the rich) and oppress the citizens in general and condemn them to their primary roles: voting to legitimize the rich to ascend or maintain power, continuing to remain slaves in the factories and houses of the rich and to pay taxes that are ever increasing! The worst is that Kenya is a colonial farm of the British master and its leaders are loyal sub-servants! Therefore, it was anticipated to see that the speech was Empty Rhetoric Not Concerned for the Lives’ of Citizens, because secular regimes are only existing to create a conducive environment for the Western capitalists or their agents acting as “investors” that continue the plundering of Kenya’s and Africa’s resources in general and enslaving her people!
Kenya and Africa in general in order to unshackle from the speeches that are full of rhetoric such as this; they must embrace the call for the return of the Islamic way of Life via the reestablishment of the Islamic State of Khilafah (Caliphate) on the method of Prophethood. The Khilafah will ensure that the Shari’ah (Qur’an and Sunnah) emanating from Allah (swt) is comprehensively implemented without caring for or factoring the Western capitalists. Since the Khalifah (Caliph) will be rushing to seek the pleasure of Allah (swt) while fearing for the Day of Judgement and remembering the saying of the Prophet (saw):
«الإِمَامُ رَاعٍ وَمَسْؤولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ»
“The Imam (Khalifah) is a guardian and he is responsible for his subjects”
Due to that the State of Khilafah will be existing to serve and solve the challenges facing its citizens and it would not be taking advantage of the situations and exploit its citizens as witnessed today in these democratic capitalist regimes. All problems including economical will be tackled by executing the economic policy that guarantees fair distribution of property to all citizens and guaranteeing that the basic needs are fully met and enable to realize the luxury needs. Socially to ensure that the society is secured from the evil thoughts of liberalism that have led humanity to descend to a level below that of animals due to so-called personal freedom! Educational to build students and the citizens in general with an Islamic personality. Politically to empower and provide opportunities to participate in the running of their esteemed Khilafah as per the Shari’ah. Indeed very soon by the permission and blessings from Allah (swt) we will get our guardian and shield the Khilafah Rashidah and that is when we shall realize genuine tranquility, development and prosperity.
